The Legislative & Political Affairs Committee (LPA) works to protect private property rights, promote REALTOR® interests at all levels of government, and mobilize members to legislative and political action.

This includes work on needed legislation, legislative monitoring, lobbying (including “calls for action”), issues campaigns, issues research, member awareness and political training programs, and raising and disbursing funds for RAPAC and the Issues Mobilization Fund.

The Arizona REALTORS® are hard at work during this 2025 Legislative Session tracking bills that impact our industry. We are advocating to protect our member’s ability to do business, private property rights, and homeownership. Follow along as Senior Director of Government Affairs, Tim Beaubien gives members a unique glimpse into specific issues impacting the real estate industry this year.

Each year the Board of Directors approves our legislative policies which guides our Legislative Committee to prioritize issues that protect our members and the real estate industry. This process begins each summer at the Arizona REALTORS® Caucus where we hear from all our members, the industry practitioners, on which issues impact them most. We will also implement a new feature shortly that will allow members to provide real-time feedback regarding our REALTOR® Legislative Agenda down at the Capitol. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!
